Yr 3/4 Adventure Day

We couldn’t attend our normal 3-day camp this year, so we are going to make up our missing last day with an adventure excursion instead! The Year 3/4 students will be visiting Enchanted Adventure in Arthur’s Seat for a day of outdoor activities, such as “Tree Surfing”, “Sky Scramble”, tube slides, giant mazes, brain teaser puzzles and exploring the beautiful gardens. These activities closely mirror the camp experience, as they also aim to promote resilience, build confidence and strengthen bonds between students and their peers.

The cost of the excursion is $58 per student, which includes general admission, a 1hr “Nippers Tree Surfing” adventure and transport to/from school via bus. Students will explore the park in small groups supervised by SKiPPS staff.

Buses will depart school at 9:00am on Monday 6th December and return at approx. 3:30pm. All student will need to arrive at school no later than 8:45am on the Monday morning.

Students will need to bring their own packed lunch and water bottle in a small backpack for the day.

In addition to online payment and consent, parents/carers must also complete and return the hard-copy waiver form to their child’s teacher, as this is required by Enchanted Adventure for children to participate in the Tree Surfing activity.

The cost for this event is $5 per student. Families need to make payment for this amount through COMPASS. Due to uncertainty regarding school operations due to COVID-19, families have not been charged an ‘excursion levy’ this year and we will instead be asking parents to pay for activities such as this excursion on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.
