Yr 1/2 Terrific Toys (Movement and Forces) incursion

The Victorian Curriculum (physical sciences) are covered in this program focussing on how objects move as well as how light and sound is produced and sensed. The session also teaches the importance of planning an investigation, recording results and communicating findings.
The children will explore toys, looking at movement (forces), toy science (design and movement) and toy making (thaumatropes and bamboo dragonflies).

The cost for this event is $10.00 per student. Families need to make payment for this amount through COMPASS.Due to uncertainty regarding school operations due to COVID-19, families have not been charged an ‘excursion levy’ this year and we will instead be asking parents to pay for activities such as this incursion on a ‘pay as you go’ basis. This activity supports our classroom learning.
