Thank you for volunteering at SKiPPS
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at St Kilda Park Primary School. We truly value the involvement of parents, carers, and extended family members in our school community. When you take part in school activities and events, you help create a richer, more connected learning environment for our students and offer meaningful support to our staff. Your time, energy and enthusiasm make a genuine difference—both in the classroom and beyond.
Keeping our students safe
At St Kilda Park Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. All volunteers are expected to be familiar with the school’s expectations and practices, including our policies for volunteers, visitors, and child safety. Understanding and upholding these guidelines ensures that every child feels safe, respected and supported. Before beginning any volunteer work, all volunteers are required to read and acknowledge our Child Safety Code of Conduct and related policies
Volunteer Online Session
To help you feel confident and well-prepared in your role, we’ve created a short video induction for all volunteers at SKiPPS. This session provides helpful tips, outlines key expectations, and reinforces the importance of your role in enriching student learning and strengthening our school community.
We strongly encourage all volunteers to watch this video before assisting at school.
Essential Policies and Acknowledgement Form

Please take the time to carefully read each policy listed below.
